A citizen by the name of Publius Lentulus, who lived in Judea in the time of Jesus, left a description of the personage in some notes, kept in THE ROMAN ARCHIVES. Excerpt from: THE LENTULUS LETTER . . . “He is somewhat tall in stature and has a comely and reverend countenance. . . His hair is full, it is the color of an unripe hazelnut, and is smooth almost down to his ears . . . A Man of singular beauty and hair volume, far exceeding all the sons of Men”.
